Finally!!!

Here's our family of three, and we're finally on the brink of adding our fourth! (Sorry this is an old picture, but we don't all get in pictures together very often!) It's hard to believe that we are actually going to China and this is for real. It's been a long time since our Referral Acceptance, and the proposed September 3 or 10 departure dates turned into possible October 8. We received our Travel Approval September 15 and our Consulate Appointment September 23 with our flight itinerary that night. We travel on the 8th and meet our precious girl on October 12. My great e-mail friend Jen, who is also waiting for travel dates to meet her precious girl, sent me instructions on how to post from China, so pray that I can do it and it works! Please also pray for the following:

1. For us to stay healthy for travel!

2. For smooth and safe 14 hour flight getting there with a contented Hannah either playing or asleep, and asking 100 times or less "When are we going to get there" or "How much longer."

3. For Lydia to be sad leaving familiar persons, but to get through it without too much pain; and for her to feel a loving bond with Barrett, Hannah, and myself quickly and joyfully.

4. For Lydia to be able to see well enough, or to understand enough of our communication so that she is not too lost with our lack of her language.

5. For all paperwork we have with us to be what we need when we need it with all dates and approvals correct!

Those of you who have been probably know what to pray for even more that we do, and we appreciate those prayers!
